Swarovski crystal and Christmas are inseparably linked, and the Dutch designer Tord Boontje is a master at creating fairytale-like worlds from crystal.
In the Winter months numerous figures are lighting up the extensive and artistically illuminated garden.
The Christmas tree at Swarovski Crystal Worlds is a long-standing tradition, especially the luminous gold “Crystal Star” from Tord Boontje that tops the tree at a height of over 10 meters. The tree is on display in the winter months from December to February.
“The Christmas star sends out its light in all directions – just like crystal,” says designer Tord Boontje about his concept. “‘Light Touching’ symbolizes the light that touches all of us, creating a connection from one human being to the other.”

Chamber of Wonder "Silent Light"
Not long ago, the Dutch designer created the winter Chamber of Wonder “Silent Light” in the new Swarovski Crystal Worlds, which has the spectacular crystal tree with 150,000 sparkling Swarovski crystals by Boontje and Alexander McQueen at its center.
