Pulse Voronoi

Imagine being surrounded by an explosion of crystals. 7,000 clear crystals to be precise. Suspended from the ceiling, each is charged with individual brilliance, yet forms part of a collective that glimmers with the power of connection. Suddenly, the crystals start to light up.

At first it seems random, but then it becomes obvious they are illuminating in time with the beat of your heart. Your pulse and the crystals are acting in unison. This is the unique experience that awaits visitors to 'Pulse Voronoi', the latest and largest Chamber of Wonder now open at Swarovski Crystal Worlds.

Kristallstimmen

'Kristallstimmen' (Crystal Voices) celebrates the untold stories of Swarovski. A sonic portrait of our international team, visitors walk beneath a canopy of 3,000 suspended crystal loudspeakers, each lighting up and playing a recording from a Swarovski team member as the person passes underneath.

Taking inspiration from the way sounds reverberate around the Austrian Alps, the result is a choir of voices layered with different languages, intonations and echoes that combine to create an oral history of the people who make Swarovski.

Designed by visionary media artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, two new interactive exhibitions highlight the multi-faceted connections between crystals and people through innovative, immersive, highly instagrammable spectacles.

Rafael Lozano-Hemmer is renowned for creating cutting-edge art installations that leverage technology to encourage interaction. His pieces for Swarovski Crystal Worlds exemplify mathe-magical brilliance, combining his distinctive craftsmanship with Swarovski’s signature savoir-faire. With his large-scale installations completely transforming the physical space, he is also able to provoke emotional transformations, using sound, light and movement to give you goosebumps.
