Swarovski Kristallwelten Wattens Press Folder

Daniel Swarovski, who founded his crystal-cutting company in Wattens/Tyrol in 1895, had a vision from the very outset: to regard crystal not merely as a material, but as an inspiration. Multimedia artist André Heller created a world of wonder to celebrate Swarovski’s hundredth anniversary in 1995. Renowned names from art and design have interpreted crystal in their own way, turning the sparkling material into a concept of experience and space – the Chambers of Wonder in Swarovski Crystal Worlds. The underlying principle of the Chambers is based on the historical chamber of wonder at Ambras Castle, a sixteenth-century attempt to assemble a universal collection of all knowledge at the time.

Swarovski Kristallwelten Store Innsbruck is a sparkling attraction in the old town that surrounds Innsbruck’s Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof). It features a luminous, modern shopping ambience presented in combination with centuries-old structural elements, some of which date back as far as the Gothic period. In addition, thanks to installations by major contemporary artists such as Marcel van Doorn, Raúl de Nieves, Susanne Rottenbacher and Fredrikson Stallard, Swarovski Kristallwelten Store Innsbruck has become an incomparable place of wonder.

Swarovski Kristallwelten Store Wien Press Folder

In the heart of Austria’s capital, at Kaerntner Strasse 24, Swarovski Kristallwelten Store Wien rolls out the carpet to a sparkling world of amazement and shopping. With the cubes on its striking façade, and the constantly reinvented performance stage in its showcase window, the exterior serves as a foil for the intentional fusion of modern art and glittering product presentation – a fusion that continues inside the brand world, over three richly designed floors. Indeed, each floor in itself is a journey of discovery, where guests encounter such luminaries as Iris van Herpen, Yves Béhar, and Tokujin Yoshioka.
