Fernando Romero comes from Mexico and is one of the leading architects of his generation. He belongs to a new avant-garde which consciously rejects traditional approaches to design.

His best-known projects include Museo Soumaya, an art museum in Mexico City, which has featured in a record number of Instagram postings. Fernando Romero’s designs have won many awards, including the Bauhaus Award and the Red Dot: Best of the Best.
