Swarovski has been making the glittering tiaras worn by the debutantes at the Vienna Opera Ball since 1956. The current stage installation at Swarovski Kristallwelten Store Wien celebrates the connection between this radiant example of traditional Austrian cultural heritage and the longstanding relationship with Swarovski. For the first time in 2025, the tiara will be complemented by a matching lapel pin.

The tiara and the lapel pin for the Vienna Opera Ball 2025 were designed by Giovanna Engelbert, Global Creative Director of Swarovski. Inspired by the Hyperbola Infinity jewelry family, they pay homage to the brand’s elegant swan logo. The tiara features a delicate pattern with sweeping curves that appear to float, and is a shining testament to the craftsmanship of the iconic design and a symbol of Swarovski’s unrivaled
Savoir-faire. 

The Swarovski tiara and the matching lapel pin can now be experienced in person exclusively at Swarovski Kristallwelten Store Wien, where the glamorous stage installation will whisk you away to a glittering ballroom in which the Vienna Opera Ball 2025 tiara is the shining star of the night. The intricate and hand-drawn tiara gleams on stage as the queen of the ball and dances between gently swaying chandeliers, which are handmade and inspired by the original lights in the Vienna State Opera.
