Susanne Bisovsky

Susanne Bisovsky

Today the designer has a fashion salon in Vienna’s Neubau district, but she originally comes from Upper Austria. She came to Vienna to study, and while she was still a student at Vienna’s University of Applied Arts, she was accepted as a masterclass pupil of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. Marc Bohan, Vivienne Westwood, and Helmut Lang accompanied her along the way, and she graduated with distinction, producing an acclaimed multi-award-winning final project on the theme of “Be tracht ung” (a play on perceptions of traditional folkloric costume).

Susanne Bisovsky consciously avoids the spotlight herself, but she loves to create designs for both haute couture and prêt-à-porter fashion collections.
