Rhea Thierstein awakes emotions

Rhea Thierstein is an internationally renowned British Artist whose practice probes the beauty in imagination, nature and memories, thereby creating new experiences for her diverse audience. She employs everyday materials to explore and play with the limitless boundaries of these in a handcrafted aesthetic, using narration to stimulate an emotional response to her work.

With delicacy, beauty and often a surprisingly dark undertone Rhea’s work has been seen on a multitude of platforms crossing over in to site-specific installations, stills photography, moving image, costume and immersive theatre.

Rhea contributed work to an all female group show for Saatchi and Saatchi (London), had an art installation at the Natural History Museum (London) as part of their Venom exhibition in 2018 and was chosen to be the artist for the Victoria and Albert Museum’s (London) campaign art work for their current exhibition – "Food, Bigger than the Plate". She was also chosen by Hermes to be featured in their Artist Windows in the UK, Ireland and Dubai on a number of occasions over the past four years.
