Kwangho Lee (1981) lives and works in Seoul. Since graduating from the Hongik University in Seoul, he has worked as an artist and designer. Influenced by his grandfather, a farmer, from his earliest days he learned to work with his hands to craft everyday goods made from natural materials. This approach of lending special significance and meaning to everyday items has inspired the artist to work intensively with a diverse range of materials.
Kwangho Lee has been nominated and awarded various international prizes. His works can be found in collections such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts or the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and are shown in international galleries and exhibitions.
