He was born in Mexico in 1983 and is a multimedia artist, performance artist and musician. Before fleeing to the United States, he learned to sew and crochet in Mexico and has remained true to Mexico's ornamental tradition to this day.
His works include both work on canvas and, above all, extravagant multimedia performances with his band Haribo. He also works on large-scale sculptures as well as ornamental shoes and garments. His works have already been exhibited at MoMA PS1 in New York, documenta 14 in Kassel and 2017 at the Whitney Biennial in New York. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
