It is all too tempting to describe the Swarovski Kristallwelten with sonorous numbers on the occasion of its 15th anniversary: Almost 10 million visitors have marveled at the crystal works of art from artists like Jim Whiting, Fabrizio Plessi, and Brian Eno since André Heller designed this sparkling world for the 100th anniversary of Swarovski in 1995. But merely juggling numbers would not do justice to what the Kristallwelten actually portray: A surreal dreamland of international cult status. Even in the future, its fascination will also be traced back to the fact that it knows how to reinvent itself over and over again. It will also be carried forward in the coming years as a role model through the implicit commitment of support from the Swarovski Company.
