Thomas Feuerstein

Thomas Feuerstein was born on November 29, 1968 in Innsbruck. He studied art history and philosophy at the University of Innsbruck and worked as artist and author in the areas of performing- and media art. From 1977, be began to receive invitations for numerous lectures and guest professorships at European universities. Feuerstein´s works encompass installations, objects, drawings and paintings as well as sculptures, photographs, videos, radio plays and network art. Substantial aspects of his art are the interaction of linguistic and visual elements, latent links between fact and fiction, and the inter dependence between art and science. Other projects explore the reciprocal effects of both individuality and society.
