Paul Seide, born in 1949, is a renowned American glass artist.
In 1971 Seide received a certificate from the Egani Neon Glassblowing School in New York and graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1974. It was not long before his works were to be found in prestigious New York galleries and permanent international exhibitions.
For Crystal Worlds Paul Seide created the Crystal Calligraphy bathed in blue-green light: glass tubes, ten metres long and filled with argon and neon, entwined into a mysterious script expressing the wish for all linguistic barriers to be overcome.
