Ingeborg Lüscher

Ingeborg Lüscher was born in 1936 in Freiberg, Saxony. She studied acting and psychology and then, self-taught, turned to the visual arts.

Her conceptional works tackle life´s fundamental issues. Collecting, documenting, examining material and experimentation introduced the artist to more and more new work groups, reflecting life as it is lived and the experiences undergone.

Ingeborg Lüscher´s pictures, sculptures and concept works have been shown at various Biennales, frequently at documenta, at Expo ´92 in Seville as well as at numerous solo exhibitions worldwide.
