MUSIC IN THE GIANT: CELEBRATING A DECADE

To mark the tenth anniversary of “Music in the Giant”, Swarovski Kristallwelten (Swarovski Crystal Worlds) is hosting a substantially larger festival, with twelve concerts over six days. The concerts, which take place in Wattens and Innsbruck from May 6 to 11, 2013, focus on these themes: Chamber music for violins performed by different artists, contemporary compositions for large ensembles, and the quintessential program lines that continue from past years.

SWAROVSKI KRISTALLWELTEN TO BE EXPANDED

Swarovski Kristallwelten (Swarovski Crystal Worlds), one of the most popular tourist sights in Austria, will be further developed and expanded by 2015. The Swarovski Executive Board has recently adopted this decision. The groundbreaking is slated for 2013; completion is scheduled for 2015.

TRANSPARENT OPACITY

On September 27, 2012, Swarovski Kristallwelten will unveil its new-look exhibition space. “Transparent Opacity” is a reflection of Israeli artist and designer Arik Levy’s diverse ideas, and elements and echoes of the installation can also be found in the park at Swarovski Kristallwelten.
